Memories of Shirley
I miss u Nanny
Just for you shirley. From the McGowan Family
my memories of shirley is when we came down to visit and she was so happy that she had her own apt. the duane and linda built for her. And how she loved to feed the dogs their treats. Also her running round non stop. And now she is happy and in no pain. Love you nanny
May she rest in peace. Looks like she had a loving family.
My sincere sympathy to my dear friend, Bonnie, in the loss of her Mother and to the whole family. May you find comfort in the memories of the good times you spent together.
When I was younger , I remember Nanny playing her 8 track tapes of Patsy Cline and Connie Frances and a never ending supply of frozen Pudding pops.Good memories:)
This is one women whom you could never pull the wool over her eyes. So, never try. Ha ha..
This is one women who was never scared of frogs, when I was leaving her house she would go outside and spray them away with ammonia, so I could make a clean dash to the car!
Nannys infamous pancakes, pistashio jello with walnuts, steak with bar-b-q sauce, laundry always smelled incredable, smell of her avon Topaz perfume, country music playing Lorretta Lynn , Conway Twitty, etc and she could yoddle.....
I remember when Nanny would make her famous pancakes. Her yummy roast and mashed potatoes I mix them all together on my plate her yummy homemade gravy that i can never make no matter how many times she told me how to do it- never came out the same - she could cook a steak in the oven and it was so good. How she used to cook all the time! Nobody can replace Nannys cooking.
