George's Obituary

George W. Wilsher, 89, of Weston, Florida passed away on June 14th, 2012. George was born in Washington D.C. on April 21, 1923, son of George and Daisy (Armistead) Wilsher.

He joined the Navy during WWII and served as an Aviation Ordnanceman. He worked for Marriott In-Flite Services in Miami, FL for over 30 years as an area controller. He was involved in the Ives Estates Optimist Club with Baseball and Football teams.

Married for 52 years to his wife Phyllis (deceased) he is survived by his son William F Wilsher of Boynton Beach, FL and his wife Kathy; son Steven E Wilsher of Weston, FL and his wife Monica. He had one grandchild Brian M Wilsher and two step-grandchildren Scott Carmichael and Kellie Thomas with spouse Dr. Chris Thomas and daughters Paige-Allen and Hailey-June.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 16th at 10 AM immediately followed by burial with military honors at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
