Griffith's Obituary 
Griffith George,87, of Dania Beach, Florida passed away on July 21, 2012 at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1925, the son of Edward and Margaret (Hearn) George.
Raised and educated in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, George and his wife Alice moved to Dania Beach, Florida in 1955. He was an active member of Mount Sinai United Methodist Church in Dania Beach for 55 years.
Survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Alice (Gutkowski) George. Also survived by his sister and brother in law, Donna Bowman and Andrew Gutkowski, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00 A.M. at Mount Sinai United Methodist Church, 118 SE 1st Ave, Dania Beach, Florida. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A burial service will be held in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Griffith may be made to Mt. Sinai U.M. Church, 118 SE 1st Ave; Dania Beach, FL. 33004 or Laurel Run P.M. Church, 3835 Laurel Run Road, Wilkes-Barre, PA. 18702.
