Vice President of Operations
Raymond is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer from Oklahoma who has been in the Funeral profession since 1983. After several years of managing and owning his own firms in Oklahoma, he accepted a position with a large funeral organization as Area Vice President / Market Director, managing over 55 Funeral Homes and Cemeteries in Northern California, Oregon and Alaska.
Raymond accepted the position of Vice President of Operations for Fred Hunter’s in November of 2015. Raymond, along with his wife Marilyn and their 4 children, are excited to be able to enjoy what South Florida has to offer and to be able to live close to Marilyn’s parents who reside in the area.
Dwane A. Wills II
Senior Managing Director
Dwane has been involved in Funeral Service since an early age. He has a strong desire to provide service excellence along with creating a unique and meaningful personal experience to each and every family that has been entrusted to us.
With 35 years of Funeral Service background, including years of State and National Associations service, he is a Current Officer and Board Member of the Florida Cremation, Cemetery and Funeral Association. Dwane enjoys many of the outdoor actives we have in Florida. He and his wife Deb have three children.
Manager of Downtown Fort Lauderdale Location
Mark has been a funeral service professional for the past 25 years, and brings his expertise to the day-to-day business of our firm. “It is our goal to support you through every step of your funeral or memorial arrangement, by listening closely, and offering options when called for; we wish you to have the appropriate services that meet both your financial and emotional needs.”
Mark is a board member of the Florida Funeral Directors Association He is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, and is a Trustee of the Cemetery Board for the City of Fort Lauderdale.
Director of Administration
After completing his education and licensure requirements in Massachusetts, David joined the firm in 1995. As a funeral director and embalmer, he had the honor of serving families in the Hollywood area. In his current position as Director of Administration, David and his staff provide computer, technical and administrative support to both the funeral homes and cemeteries.
When not working, David loves to travel. He has visited fourteen different countries on 4 continents. He makes his home in Plantation, FL.
Director of Preplanning
Eric Swenson, born in Minnesota, has spent his entire 32 year career in the funeral services profession. Early in his career he was meeting families during their most difficult times, immediately following a loved one’s death. Later, he began helping families meet their needs ahead of time with preplanning. He has moved around the country and has held various positions which served to strengthen his knowledge and ability to serve families. Knowing the value of preplanning, he joined Fred Hunter’s with the mission to lead our team in the effort to assist families before their time of need.
Ray has served families for 25 years. “I keenly understand that it’s more than just a job, that what I do is an essential service. My goal is to treat each family as if they were my own, and that means nothing short of excellence will do.”
Ray and his wife Kim have two sons, Aaron and Adam. They currently enjoy the company of their two granddaughters, Trinity and Rachel. He also thoroughly enjoys watching his favorite football team, the Jets, and loves to attend concerts.
