Vicky Leela Samaroo- Torres 45, passed away on March 4, 2018 and her soul (aatma) has transcended to attain moksha (salvation) from this physical body and become one with God.
Vicky Leela Samaroo was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on December 17, 1972, as the first born daughter to the proud parents, Premchan and Ramrajie Samaroo.
Vicky was a wonderful person and the highlight of her young life was becoming a mother. She dedicated her life to her three young children. Vicky was diligent, kind-hearted, simple, humble, patient, understanding and embodied perseverance, tolerance and trustworthiness. She made lasting friendships throughout her varied journeys in life and her untimely passing has left an empty void in the world. She loved spending time with her family, listening to music and cherishing the memorable family engagements.
Vicky is survived by her beloved children, Vanessa (19), Nicholas (18) and Ariana (5), her cherished younger sisters, Vishma Samaroo-Seetal and Vidiya Samaroo as well as her much adored parents and numerous extended family and friends in Trinidad, United States of America and Canada.
'Coming right nigh to Me, these great of soul, are never born again. For rebirth is full of suffering, knows nothing that abides: free from it now they attain the all-highest prize.'
Bhagavad Gita 8:15

My heart goes out to the Samaroo-Torres family and friends of Vicky in your time of sorrow. I know Vicky has left you with many precious memories from her short time with us. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again.
Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.
We are greatly saddened to hear of the passing, of our second/third cousin Vicky Samaroo-Torres. We send our condolences to her three children, sister's and parent's Chan and Rajie in Florida.
Unfortunately we shall never meet her in this lifetime, but we hope that her soul will come to rest, in the next part of life's journey.
Thinking of all of you in your time of loss and sending our deepest sympathies from the United Kingdom,

My deepest sympathy to the entire family because I know how this loss has effected me personally. It's not often you meet people that exude such purity and kindness. I sat next to Vicky every day and it's hard to come to work and not see her. She is missed very much and always will be. RIP......
My deepest condolence to the Samaroo family for this terrible lost. May she rest in peace.
All our love and support goes out to Aunty, Uncle Sam, Vidya, Vishma and the kids. It is indeed a heart breaking situation. But we must now ask God to guide and protect our darling Vicky's soul and give her kids the strength they will need to move forward without both parents. We love you guys dearly and we are always here for you if you need us. Love Heima and Vijay.
Our hearts are aching. The world is a darker place without Vicky's sweet smile. Praying for strength for you all. Love you all very much. Kelly & James
