I had the pleasure of learning under Dean Dickson at the FIU Broward Campus between 1990-91. He was a terrific professor and I enjoyed his classes very much. He was very approachable and genuinely cared for his students. He was one of many professors that helped me to enjoy my time in the Hospitality program at FIU. I thank him for his service to our country and to all of the people's lives like mine that he touched. May you rest in peace, and I'll see you again Heaven one day.

Colonel (Retired) Lee Dickson has represented his Alma Mater, Boston University Army ROTC '53, with distinction across a very distinguished career. His induction into the BU Army ROTC Hall of Fame for 2016 was followed in 2018 with submission for regional (Northeast - 2d "Freedom" Brigade ROTC) and national (US Army Cadet Command) consideration. His service will inspire Future Leaders of the US Army for years to come, recognizing him as a Hero, Patriot, Teacher and Excellent Leader across so many decades.
