Although Mr Sapp may no longer be physically present, I know his impact will remain with many of us. His influence in my life began as my coach, teaching me how to triple jump. Even into my adulthood, he took me under his wing by empowering and guiding me in my leadership position at northwest. Watching him coach, teach, and mentor youth has dramatically inspired me in my career today. More than anything, his life of service to others exemplified a fine example of being a loving husband, father, and fearless man of God.
Coach Sapp, you will be missed but your legacy will continue through all the lives you impacted.
Mr. Sapp has the brightest smile, and was a dear friend of my parents. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Praying for the family who are left to treasure his memory.
Mr. Sapp was one of the sweetest men I have ever met. He always had a smile, and he was always encouraging, even when he was yelling at Zoe for missing a basket. :-) He will truly be missed. May God keep you all in His tender care as you go through this time of bereavement. God is able.
Henry will be greatly missed. We worked together for 15 years and worshiped together for 32 years. In all that time I don't ever recall him not having that big smile - a smile that just brought light into a room. Henry was a good man - not too many like him today. He was a gentle giant who loved his wife, his children, and his church. It seemed like he served our church 24/7 - he loved being there. He truly was a servant of God.
Mr. Sapp was a faithful servant to the Lord, his family, the Northwest Baptist Church, and the Northwest Christian Academy. He was always moving to and fro to get things down. I never saw him without a smile. He was always willing to give you a helping hand, a hearty laugh, or a song. If you were feeling down, he knew just how to lift you up!
A True Ambassador of the Lord’s Kingdom!
Bro. Sapp exemplified and reflected Christ in his daily living. I knew him to be the same man every day of the week. His fellowship, suggestions and manner were always founded in his love for the Lord and it was ever apparent. I always came away feeling better whenever we spoke and I will never forget that.
